Cutest puppies and the best hair trick!

Hey Everyone!! Missing you all a whole lot, just back from my vacay a few days ago so time to blog again =].... Still testing out whether you guys can see my blog updates on your dashboards or not =S let me know please! if it's still broken then I might make a new blog instead because I'm not happy with how Blogger isn't helping me fix it! grrr...

Anyways, I've been obsessed with these YouTube videos I watched within these few weeks. Seriously the best useful hair trick EVER no lies and the cutest puppies ever! I think most of you have seen these videos already since it's so popular but just in case you haven't yet then please enjoy! =D

Let me start of with the best hair trick I learned from Blair of "juicystar07"

-This hairstyle/trick is great for emergency situations where you need to get your hair our of the way but don't have a hair tie, hair clip, bobby pins, pencils or other sources to get your hair up:
Ex. 1: Working out at the gym; you are sweating like no other therefore turning your pin straight hair into a severe case of frizzyness
Ex. 2: Washing your face or brushing your teeth; quickly do this hairstyle and throw it to the back or inside your shirt so it won't move around
Ex. 3: Wear this hairstyle right after washing and drying your hair to add beachy waves into your hair without applying extra heat from a curling iron/straightener

- Or simply wear this style because it's cute, easy and quick
-Or do this style to avoid damaging your hair with bobby pins, hair ties etc...

*All I know is that I think this is the coolest and most useful hair trick ever!! been doing this hair at least twice a day (morning and night when I'm washing after myself*

Second lovely video that I'm loving is from Holly of "hollyannaeree" where she posted a video of her puppy Eevee! Isn't she cute!?!?!

One of the cutest puppy ever! Her fur colour is so pretty and luxurious looking! Also loving the red collar, what a stylist puppy s2!

Last but not least, this video always puts a smile on my face! I can watch it 10000000x and still not get bored of it!!! It's the Ultimate Dog Teaser by "klaatu42"

Love it!! do you?? =D

Weather been super cold lately, I thought it's still summer?
Anyway, hope you all have a greatttttt weekend! Let me know what you think about the videos? Have you watched it already?

DIY Romper and OOTD x 3 (picture heavy!)

Hey!! I'm back with another long post just to make up for being mia for so long =]

I just wanted to share some OOTD as well as featuring one of my creations; a romper (I made this last summer when I went crazy over sewing, recently I've been cooling off from any sewing projects but I'm planning on getting back to it soon =]). I don't know what fabric I used sorry, I'm still new to all of this. But the fabric is thin and see-through-ish, very soft and not stretchy at all =[. It wrinkles very easily =[. The linings is a whitish/pearly-ish stretchy fabric, I lined the romper just so that the romper isn't see-through anymore.

Ok, let me show you my DIY romper, hope you all like it =]...

My DIY romper =]

Pockets!

Pearl-ish/white-ish linings

Ugly hem finish, but no one can actually see it, so it's ok =]

I have no camera with me so I'm temporarily using my iPhone
Ignore the socks please =]

Side view, do I need a haircut? it's getting quiet long now><

Belt was a gift from my lovely sister =]

Just wanted to show off my 1L water bottle LOL, It looks bigger in real life but it looks ok in this picture, no? and I really like my hair in this picture (I had it in a donut bun! =O)
- I think the game that we were playing is called RUMMY-O (It's SO FUN! s2)

Ok that was it but I wanted to share a couple of my other simple outfits (I always were the same accessories such as my Swarovski heart-shaped pendant, my Mosaic dual circle bracelet, and my Steve Madden Satchel-I'm pretty boring in terms of accessories and sometimes I'm boring in terms of shoes as well. I wore the same snake-skin gladiator from my last OOTD post)

$4 white tee from Bluenotes
$7 plain white tank top from H&M
$1 or $2 belt from my sister from Bluenotes (she really knows how to shop =])
$20 loose shorts with pockets from H&M

Sporting my Steve Madden Satchel as a crossed body bag =]

Photo effect with iPhone =]

Okay now moving on to my third and last outfit, I promise =]....Sorry for the long post!

$4 tee from Bluenotes
Another pair of old shorts from Sirens
Sunglasses from BUFFALO David Bitton
$50 Steve Madden Satchel from Winners
$30 Blowfish Gladiators from Sterlings

Wavy hair =]
I had to cut off my friend so this picture turned out his way =]
Btw, I got ugly tan lines from shorts and gladiator after that day walking at the park =[

Closer look at my bag and gladiators?
Btw, these two last pictures were taken with a DSLR see the difference in the quality between the DSLR and my iphone4? =[... Oh oh oh that DRLR that I'm holding in this picture is NOT MINE T_T. But I do want one =]

GO ON... LAUGH AT ME =[
That was my old phone but now I've got the whity s2 and no, I don't want iPhone 5 because I like my whity the way she is =]

Ok ok, I'll leave you all alone now =], sorry for all the OOTD. Maybe it was a bad idea to post them all at once? Now I have nothing else to post in the near future LOL, Ok maybe that's not true, but still, this is such a longg post!! Hope you all had a wonderful FATHER's DAY!!! My family and I just had a casual dinner at home and we still enjoyed every moment of it with tons of laughter and yummy food =P

Let me know what you think of the OOTD and my ROMPER! =O

June's Luxe Box by Loose Button - s2!

I know I have an essay due tomorrow that I still need to work on, but I couldn't wait to show you all what I got in my June's Luxe Box. I was so excited because they were suppose to mail these boxes out next week and was going to be delayed do to the strike that Canada Post is currently on. However, they made exceptional plans to get us the boxes on time? But even better, then sent them out a week earlier! That's why I got it today s2. This is the first time ever that I waited until I got my box to see what I got instead of searching it on Youtube and spoiling my own surprise ^^. And let me tell you, the experience is totally different, you get tons more excited than watching it on Youtube!!.

I'm sure you all know what Luxe box is, if not then maybe refer back to my March or May Luxe Boxes? (click on the months)

Loose Button made a lot of chances/improvements to their services during last month and they finally launched their products to the public!! (meaning, no need to receive an invite from them in order to purchase the box, you can now just go on www.loosebutton.com and purchase their boxes at $12/month, $36/quarterly or $120/year.

Also, remember how they messed up my last Luxe Box? They left out my chocolate AND they didn't upgrade me China Glaze polish to a full size! (people got upgraded for subscribing to their 3 month service, which I was one of them) and so I emailed them and great things comes after whining/complaining about it! =]... as a result, I got extra goodies in my June Box =]....YAY!!=]

Btw, sorry for the bad picture quality, my Mister took my camera with him to vacation so I won't be having it with me until be comes back, which is beginning of July =[. So webcam quality will do for now =]...

Overview of all the products, packaging and notes s2

WHAT DID I LIKE FROM LAST MONTH'S LUXE BOX?......
I liked most of the prodcuts from my May's box but I LOVED the bar of soap from Consonant Skincare! I love how its 100% natural AND 100% organic and that big bar of soap only contains 4 ingredients! =O it's awesome, and leaves me skin feeling soft after each shower. However, I didn't like how the bar of soap melted so easily after touch water and I didn't like how it makes you skin feel super dry and squeaky clean while in the shower. But oh well, I still love how natural/organic it is and how it leaves my skin soft =]

I hated the Elizabeth Grant's anti-aging serum because it felt so sticky and took a long time to get absorbed so I just use it on my neck and back of my hands just so I don't waste anything =]

Soooooo...... did any of you purchase any Luxe Boxes?
If not, are you planning to? or did you see any products in the box that you wanted to try?
If yes, did you love/like/hate any products?

Let me know in the comment section! I would love to know some of your favourite products =]

I am super happy about this month's Luxe Box for getting two full sized products (Consonant and Laura Mercier) and other deluxe samples of things I've never tried before!!!! also loving their services of quick email replies/fb replies and personal touches (hand written notes/chocolates).
Alrighty, I hope you all are enjoying the lovely weather and the happy sun. I need to get back to working on my essay. Hope to talk to you all you guys real soon ^^

Convertible Bangs? I don't know, you tell me...

Sorry I haven't been too active on blogger for the past week, I got caught up with too much school work and it's still not over yet because midterms and assignments are coming up too, so I apologize if I haven't been able to keep up with you girls =]. By I wanted to post this up asap and hopefully more post will come in the near future =]

SOOOOOOO.....My bangs has gotten super long to the point that they aren't bangs anymore so it was time to trim it myself again and I always wanted to try straight bangs but I never got the guts to get them because I'm a very simple and plain girl and never liked to change my style too often or too much of a change and straight bangs are already so different for me. So this time I cut myself a 2-in-1 bangs =]; straight bangs and side swept bangs. Just incase I dodn't like my straight bangs then I don't have to wait for my hair to grow back, instead I can instantly part my hair differently to convert my straight bangs to side swept bangs. This is also a great way to change up the style of your hair =]

Things I used: a comb, hair straightener, and scissors used for cutting hair only (but I left my scissors at my Mister's place so I used eyebrow scissors LOL.. yesssss the super smalllll scissors people use to trim their eyebrows with LOL they weren't sharp either so it took me a while to get my bangs how I wanted them.

How I did it in brief: I parted my hair in a semi circle (just like ahanh in the video below) to get them ready for a cut and the straighten them then cut my bangs like usual into a side swept bang  (here's a video on how to cut side swept bangs by ahanhbarbie34). Then I parted my bangs in half using only the front half to achieve my front bangs.

Okey dokey time to see some pictures!!! Let me know how I look with straight bangs and which style bangs do you think fits me more? I love both but I personally prefer the side swept bangs more than straight bangs because its easier to maintain it and maybe because I'm not used to my straight bangs yet . Straight bangs also pokes me in the eye ><(maybe I need to cut them shorter?). But anyway, this is still a nice way to try something new without compromising too much of my original side swept bangs, I can just alternate between the two styles when I feel like it =]. Btw, people said I look younger and cuter and some people even hated it LOL... let me know what you think, I won't get offended if you hate it as well lol =P or do you like my first picture with no bangs more?

A few weeks ago with out grown bangs

My new side swept bangs =], with my hair tied in a bun

With my hair out of the bun, natural messy waves?

Second option: straight bangs with my hair in a bun again

With my hair out of the bun again and I defined the curls with my hands

=]
sooooooooooooooooooooooooo.... what do you think??? side swept bangs?, straight bangs?, in a bun?, curled?, straight?

Do you like my 2-in-1 bangs? =D and did I tell you this saves me money AND time because I don't have to go to the salon to get it done nor I have to wait a LONG time for my bangs to grow out before I can change the style? Yay!! =]

3 hates/ 3 loves

A month or two ago Youtube beauty guru Andrea from AndreasChoice made a tag called Perfect imperfections, what you have to do is name 3 things you hate, dislike and/or flaws about yourself and 3 loves, likes and/or perfection about yourself. I am sad that this tag only allows 3 dislike because I can name 100!! lol who in the world doesn’t complains about themselves, I think everyone does, everyone wants to be perfect but sadly no one is perfect unless you're a doll or you're in a photoshopped  photo lol. Anyways...

3 hates about myself…
1) I am currently MAD at my skin!!! I have been breaking out for 2.5 years continuously but recently it's been getting worse that I won't leave my house without makeup on (mainly foundation and concealer). I have dry skin but for so reason I still have tons of breakouts even if I moisturize well and use acne products. Someone help!!!

2) Second thing I hate about myself are my dark and puffy circles...

3) Third thing I dislike would be my uglyyyy feet haha.. I think they are gigantic and wide-ish but nothing too bad, I started accepting them last summer when I started wearing sandals and gladiators =]

Now for the fun partttt ^^ 3 loves…

1) I love my eyes, not super big but not super small =], long/full lashes, full/manageable eye brows, double eye lids, I have no complains except the dark/puffy circle I mentioned above haha

2) I love my skin colour, I am a pretty tan for a 100% Chinese girl but I'm not overly tan that I'm a sweet potato I hope?. Many people think I'm Vietnamese/Filipino/Thai and I was so surprised that I got my first comment 6 months ago that a classmate thought I was Korean!!!! I was like WAAAAAAA???? Korean?? how??? I was kinda sad because I don’t like being pale and I think Korean are usually pale but when I thought back I think what made her think I was Korean was my hairstyle!! I tied my hair into a huge bun lol but I love buns they are soo easy and great, specially for "dirty" hair haha

3) Last but not least, my hair have improved so much recently that it is no longer fried/dry/frizzy/curly/puffy instead it actually have SHINE to it plus it is much more straighter well more like wavy (not curly and not straight but with some volume, I don’t think I look good with pin straight hair). Btw this is when I don’t even use a flat iron, I used to blow dry AND straighten every day at least once a day max twice a day depending on how often I wash my hair. Nowadays, I TRY washing my hair only once every 3-4 days!! I know, yuk!! but very beneficial for your hair plus I don’t flat iron it anymore only on special occasion =]
A few months apart, right picture was air dried with some curling mousse, left picture was air dried then blow dried a bit to make sure its completely dried before I go to sleep =]... I tried my best to find a picture to show you guys the difference but I couldn't find a pic that I didn't use mousse =P

What are your 3 hates/3 loves about yourself?
