Don't you all love free samples, I've recently received a lot of samples but I only taken pictures of a couple of them and these are also the bigger ones too!... I love samples, I actually love collecting them more than actually trying them/using them. I guess I just love opening packages in my mail (hence all the online shopping><)).

Btw, I'm not wearing ANY MAKEUP in the picture below so you will all see my terrible acne scars T_T. It takes 12-18 months for acne scars to heal sooo I'm patiently waiting and applying lots of sunscreen and exfoliating like I should. I'm glad I haven't broken out in 2 months (that's a miracle for me because I used to break out almost like every other day or something ><) But anyways I will show you guys in later posts what I use to control my acne and my general acne healing process =].... Please don't leave mean comments about my scars or I will tear =`[... ok maybe not, no body is perfect right? ]

I have blogged about this freebie before but I think this ended already. What I did was signup on their main website (http://www.freeasana.com/index.php# - Canadians only) a few months ago, got a coupon in my mail for a free tub of yogurt and just redeemed this yesterday! I got this coupon a while back but I always forget to redeem it at stores (any stores that sells this will accept this coupon, I got mine at a local Superstore-Wal-Mart).


I'm not loving the taste of this just yet because it is very thick in consistency and it taste a lot like cheese!! Lol, I love cheese but I would like a plainer yogurt with less flavour? or a more refreshing flavour rather than something so thick and strong in flavour. But oh well this was for free so I can't complain too much about that, I will give it another try =P


Next, I received a few samples from P&G Brand Sampler (I believe this is only for Canadian). They have two versions one for Women and one for Men, I got them both but I didn't take a picture of the women version, maybe if I can collect some of the samples that I haven't use yet, then I will show them to you guys in another post. P&G sends out samples every 3-4 months so make sure you register now to get an email for their next sample batch =].

Random: I got a free Venti! =] and other randomness s2!

Last week, Starbucks had their happy hour event: 50% off all their Frappuccino, I know I'm super late to share the offer but I didn't have my camera with me and my friend blogged about it so I didn't feel like re-posting almost everything she said.
- Anyways, last Tuesday I went to a mall with two of my girls and we all lined up to get some awesome Fraps
- The line was long! but the service was quiet fast. They had a guy taking our order while we were in line then just paying at the cashier when it was our turn. I wanted to order a Grande Green Tea Frap with soy milk but the guy was like, " Would you like to add 10cents to upgrade to a Venti". I was like heck yea!! so I did, then when it was my turn to pay, I paid for a Grande but I didn't know they charged me less, but I saw my other friend getting charged more than me but she also ordered a Venti Green Tea Frap with soy milk. So I just left it, I thought oh well I guess I'm lucky to get charged a few cents less. THEN when I lined up for my order they gave me a grande but I totally ordered a Venti so then they were like "you are right, it's written here that you ordered a Venti". So they just gave me the Grande AND made me another Venti Green Tea Frap with soy milk. So long story short, I paid for a grande and got a venti for FREE!! weeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I love green tea everything, I was so happy I got extra because now, my two friend and I shared the extra one =].. Yum, that was a good shopping day =]

AND tonight was the last episode for ANTM cycle 16 and my love won!! I knew she would win ever since she got her haircut!! I love her soo much and I'm sooo glad she won!! Congratulation Brittani!!

It's that time of the month again!, I didn't have my camera with me for the paste week so I couldn't upload these pictures therefore I couldn't blog about this! but I was so excited to receive this last Monday, came home from school and immediately opened this s2!

I love Luxe Boxes!

I love this service because you really get a chance to try products that you've never heard of or never thought of buying but this way, you will definitely find things you might love and wish to purchase the full size item or things you might hate and not wanting to purchasing the full size. So this is great for beauty lover and beauty beginners like me because I can try various products without spending a whole lot and these samples are huge!

However, I was a little disappointed with this month's service, if you've watched some YouTubers talk about their May's Luxe Box or have read another blogger about their boxes, then you might find that their China Glaze polish got upgraded to a full size just because they ordered the 3-month subscription plan, but I did too and I didn't get an upgrade PLUS they forgot to throw in a chocolate like they always do to everyone's =[. Anyways, these are just minor things, I actually prefer the mini polish because they are cuter and I won't be able to finish the full size anyways so that's ok AND I don't like chocolate that much anyways so that's ok too LOL but I just don't like how their system is still unorganized, I emailed them last week about this small matter and still they haven't replied, kind of disappointed with their services because they usually reply within a few days! =[

Update!, I posted this too quick, I just got an email from Loose Button referring to the small matter mentioned right above and they realized that they have mixed up my Luxe Box and I'm happy they emailed me back that they will make my June's Luxe Box extra special =] but I will have to wait and see, in the mean time they have also offered me an extra nail polish sample from China Glaze in another colour so I that I can have two to try=] I'm very pleased with their service as I always thought, but this email took one week to reply which is why I felt disappointed prior to receiving this email. I'm very happy with their service and accommodation that they have offered me for their small mistakes. I just want to take this chance to Congratulate Loose button on their public launch of their Luxe Boxes this Saturday May 21st. This service will be made available to the public (Canadians only) with different payment plans, but you guys will no longer need an invite to order! yay!

Anyways, let me know if you purchased a Luxe Box before or not, did you like it? would you want to try this system out? Time to be a Nerd

Summer school started today =[ that means it's time to switch to my nerdy mode!!.... Don't I look like a cool nerd in those pictures? HAHA... I was actually exciting to go school today because I knew there would be a package waiting for me at home! It's that time of the year again!! Shiseido warehouse that occurs twice a year is happening next weekend on May 14 (VIP: not sure about the time), May 15 (Public: 9AM-5PM) and May 16 (Public: 9AM-3PM). Please correct me if I'm wrong because I'm not 100% sure about it myself.

Anyways, I am excited to go this time because I couldn't make it to the one in November 2010 so I hope I can pick up some goodies this time and hope to see some of you there =]. Line ups will be super long but I think it is totally worth it! just make sure to have a big breakfast or lunch before you go =]. Things will be well discounted so it will save you a lot of money to attend this warehouse rather than buying then full price at a department store! I can't wait to go =]

Neutral Eyes...Naked? or not?

Bare with me, I'm not a professional make-up artist, in fact this is probably my third time using shadows =O.....so you might think "what the heck is this girl doing!!" ..but I just wanna share my look because my friend and I were and still is so obsessed with the Naked Palette by Urban Decay. She got the palette along with many of my other friends which is super tempting GRRRRr..... soo here we go, please don't laugh at my bad skills I will improve over time I hope LOL

I used these products....

You can skip this part unless you want a description on how I did my eyes =] I used my ELF eyelid primer before applying eye shadows then I used NYX's Jumbo pencil in Milk (matte white used for highlighting underneath my eyebrows and inner corner of eye) then I used Lancome's Color Design sample palette (all the colours except the red). Colours include Walf (nude colour used all over lids), Filigree (shimmery gold use on 2/3 of the lid and lined 1/3 of the bottom lash line) and Couture (matte brown used on the crease). Also used a darker brown in my ELF encyclopedia Basic Eye Edition shown below on the other V and crease area as well as lightly line my outer 2/3 of the bottom lashes. Then, I used my Shiseido Creamy Eye Shadow Duo in C6 called Iced Moss (I only used the black to line my upper lashes). I just curled my lashed then applied my free physicians' Organic Wear mascara in Black. I also lined my lower waterline in white with NYC but that pencil doesn't work!! LOL so the white wasn't showing much.

Baked Chicken Drumsticks =P

Another delicious, easy, and simple recipe I use at home. Don't forget, mother's day is coming up this Sunday and you know how mommies always cooks for you? maybe you can prepare your mom this simple recipe that will leave her drooling =], I think she will much appreciate it even if you don't know how to cook she would love it when you cook for her!

Today, I'm sharing with you guys my baked chicken drumsticks. This is the basic of the basics, you can always add all sorts of vegetable like onion, carrots, celery and partly cooked potatoes in the baking dish to bake them all at one but you all know I like easy and simple recipes so here we go!.....


What you need:

- Baking dish of your choice

- Aluminum foil

- *8-10 chicken drumsticks

- **Garlic powder (but you can use garlic cloves)

- **Onion powder (again fresh is better but I was convenience)

- **Coarse grounded pepper

- **Salt

- butter or oil is optional but I didn't use it here

*Note: You can leave or remove the skins to make it healthier but you would have to lightly coat the drumsticks with oil/butter so that the seasonings will stick and also so that the drumsticks can turn golden brown
**Note: I do not have the exact amount on how much seasonings I used on these drumsticks, I just lightly sprinkle one side of the drumsticks with all the spices then flip them around and sprinkle another thin layer of these seasonings. Just have a light hand on the salt but the other 3 spices will be ok even if you add too much =]. It's like trial and error, once you make it a few times you will actually feel how much you'll need to suit your own taste buds.


What to do:

1) Preheat oven to 375 F
2) Cover baking dish with aluminum foil (or coat it with butter/oil)
3) Place drumsticks on baking dish

4) Lightly coat your drumsticks with seasonings, flip them around and repeat.

5) Loosely cover the drumsticks with aluminum foil or leave the drumsticks uncover if you want it to turn golden brown. Once the oven is ready at 375 F, carefully place drumsticks in the middle rack and bake for around 30-35 minutes. To check, just take out your drumsticks at 30 min, cut a slit down a drumstick in the middle and check if the meat is still pink or bone is super bloody, a bit bloody is ok thought. If not cooked then place it back in the oven for another 5-10min depending on how uncooked it is.

 6) When it is cooked. Serve to your likings, just by itself or with rice/quinoa/salad/potatoe/soup or anything else you want. I love to eat it with some Tabasco sauce or just itself with quinoa (will be showing you guys later an easy recipe to prepare your quinoa, a healthy substitute to white rice).

HAHA CHOPSTICKS!!! wHaT?? chopsticks with drumsticks?? how can you eat it like that... but yea I love using chopsticks with everything!! this is probably the most 'Chinese-y' thing you've seen in my blog lol
